Perhaps Too Far

Perhaps Too Far

1 min
188

The chirps drowned,

The rainbow faded,

Far in the horizon,

The sunset races.

No moon, no stars

No dreamy constellations

No rustles, no winds

No lilies no, carnations

Just a rush of ticks.

Lost in its defeaning sounds are days months and weeks.

Somewhere far - perhaps too far,

A new world awaits.

New Dawn,

The struggle in the cocoon,

The desperation for wings,

To soar in the skies

Where the joyous heart sings.
