Thousand Reasons

Thousand Reasons

'I don't want to go',

Little Lisa said.

Raising her eyes with a fearful tread.

'They will cut my wings and won't let me fly.

They won't let me dream,

And will give a thousand reasons to cry.

They will do the same,

As they have done to others.

I will suffer from that same pain,

Which they gave to their sisters.'

'You'll have to,'

said God with a humble smile.

'Your mother is waiting,

For her little child.

Of course, they'll put you down,

But you'll rise.

You shall wear the crown,

And fight.

You'll spread your wings and fly,

Like a star shining in the dark sky.'

'Okay, then I'll go,

But promise me,

You'll never make me grow old,'

She requested.

'Nobody can harm you,

without your consent.

You will bloom,

and spread your fragrance.

Get into it,

And be brave.

Bring a change,

And never bury your dreams in graves.

Erase the dirt,

And clean the land.

Be a bird that doesn't know how to land.

Prove that you need no one,

You are free,

And are not among the scared ones.

Make them realize,

That if they'll not stop,

There won't be any girl,

Ready to born.

Your journey is like a river,

which is pure and divine.

But if somebody harms her,

she breaks the shore and leave them crying.

If they give you thousand reasons to cry,

Show them that you have thousand reasons to smile.

Shine like a sun,

And make those blind,

Who look at you,

With their monstrous eyes.'

'I'll beat,

And smile.

'cause I know it takes a lot of heat for gold to shine,'

little Lisa said with a smile.
