Dear Me,
Dear Me,
Into the deep wilderness,
The lush, green carpet of life,
I found myself, slowly waking up,
From a dying creeper,
To the healthiest vine.
When the world would shut down upon you,
When nothing seems right,
I’ll be your knight in shining armour,
Awaiting your will,
And together we shall rule the world.
My eyes were definitely deceiving me.
Before I could realise,
The sunlight closed its eyes.
Pitch dark, not even a twinkle.
Surprisingly,
That was the brightest door
Towards my goal.
I couldn’t hold it back anymore.
My eyes, my face,
Put up into a humongous smile,
Couldn’t bear to lie more.
I’m so amazed,
Today I’m making the same gesture,
It’s just that I am not lying anymore.
Where the worlds unite,
Where day meets the night,
Where happy and sad have a nice cup of tea,
Where dangers seem easy,
I’ll be there for you, every time.
Always by your side.
Unending stretched of undulating mountains,
Laced by blue rivers,
Doesn’t it look like a green gift box with a blue ribbon?
The sun peeping through the clouds,
Ah, what a masterpiece,
Can be seen through your eyes,
Which I wish to capture in a photograph.
Whoosh!
With a blink and a blonk,
A clink and a clonk,
A ding and a dong,
I fell down this strange hole,
Tumultuous jumps,
It all landed me into this new land,
Welcoming me with new challenges,
Much more surprises up its sleeve,
And I will endure them all.
