Cherished Love...
Cherished Love...
A splendid evening at the beach,
It’s just me and you,
Where the whole world is out of reach,
Gone is all the pain and hue.
The soothing sound of waves and rustling of the leaves
Stir our emotions hidden deep within.
Awakened are we to what our soul so craves
With air around us oh so thin.
We gaze at each other,
In those long and splendid hours.
Time and tide we do not bother,
The solitude is ours.
We hug and kiss for a while
We’re precisely like the lost love birds.
We float on the beautiful River Nile
With grass beside, covered by snow-white herds.
We live the moment to its fullest.
We’re happy and so gay.
The weather is at its coolest.
And rainbows cross our way.
We soon come close and hold each other tight
And blend up into one on the golden lawn
We make love in the twilight night
When moon and stars shine till the dawn
Seconds and minutes turn into hours so soon
Time and tide now wait for no moon
It’s time we wake up
And witness the beautiful dawn
With a warn little teacup
Near the lush green garden lawn
Curled up beneath the silky smooth satin
We feel the morning glory
We knew no words - no French or Latin
We talked just our sweet love story
Destiny held us close
It’s destiny that makes us part
It’s love that we chose
And it’s love that forever shall last
Soon, we part
On roads now so pleasant.
With joy in our heart
And smile oh so different
We know, luck never gives
It always only lends
We’re glad our love survives
On the wildest desert sands.
