My Valentine

You’re so far away on this day we should spend together, but the feeling is there, a love to be treasured.

I don’t know how to tell you that it’s only you I care about, you’re the reason for my smile, you’re something I couldn’t live without. 

So on this special day, we’re together in heart, together in this moment forever, even though we’re far apart.

A strong connection, a feeling I can’t explain, a feeling so special, never causing any pain.

You make me feel so comfortable, a best friend but so much more, I thought about this forever, just never feeling this strong about someone before.

On this day so special, thinking about me and you, knowing you’re so far away, but for now, a feeling so true. 

You say we have forever, and yes, this may be so, there’s just this fear of losing you, and this scares me more than you’ll ever know. 

I can’t picture my future if you’re not in it, but I guess that’s crazy, maybe even too crazy to mention this, but it all comes down to feel, so please, will you be mine on this day of love and togetherness?
