Eternal

Spinning around in this black epiphany,

A sea of darkness,

Lost in confusion,

A suicidal mess.

Left behind in your world,

The flames of wrath from the desire for passion,

A lifeless body - emotionless,

Left with the longing for remembering the lies of your attraction. 

The withered roses,

Sit fading away,

The hour of ruthless death that comes closer each day.

This black haze of ashes, 

Seasons leave us behind,

To sit there, spinning,

Going out of my mind.

Feelings of loneliness,

They rush through my head,

Pushing everyone away,

I yearn for the touch from the hand of the dead.

Pulling me closer into despair,

Death calls my name,

Only zombies, deadly visions, left to comfort me there.

The taste for solitude, 

The return to redemption,

My heart fails to remember what my mind longs to mention. 

A forgotten closeness, 

Trying to give you your space,

We draw farther away,

Thoughts of us fading away.

Here I lay, in my broken state,

Devoid of all feeling,

Time wasted on you, 

When none of it had any meaning.

To me, a harmful joke, 

To you, it was all beautiful lies,

My tears of this dark obsession,

The sorrow in my bloody cries.

Bury me deep in this valley of sin,

Invite the reaper of death,

Make every cut sting.

I hold on to hope for one second more,

Before I let myself go insane,

Then I let death take over,

And I let go of the pain.

I tell myself not to be afraid,

Let come what will,

Have faith in the dead,

After all, peace is eternal. 

The last petal falls,

I let the darkness pull me through,

I say my last prayer,

I say my last “I love you.”
