Perception
Slimy slithery creature
Slithered in the backyard
It is Under the stars
Ruled the garden
Bringing in creeps
Every time lighting struck
Heart pounded at a galloping speed
At the first stroke of sunlight
Beaming fresh on the flowers
With trembling feet
Moved me to open the backdoor
There still lay the long creature
Only it was not so terrifying
There lay a harmless rope instead.
