Nurture Your Soul
Nurture Your Soul
May now you live in grand mansion and dine at fancy restaurant,
One day, this body will vanish swiftly on wings of deathly sorrow.
Why we get engulfed so much in material pleasure?
Not money, not gold...after death only good deeds they'll measure.
That soul'll be orphan...no one accompanying...no shelter to hide,
But, isn't it too late to reprimand that useless pride?
One can offer nothing but faith to get abode in heaven,
What's point in regretting now...more time to prayer you should have given.
In journey after death, richest is the one who's heart is pure,
He never forsake those who sustain scars for others to get cure.
So, nurture your weary soul with hope, faith and compassion,
Make it spiritually strong enough to step on the doorway of heaven.
