(Not) Apart

(Not) Apart

1 min 221 1 min 221

And I was clutching his t-shirt,

Crying like a kid,

That an hour or so later

We'll have to go

Our separate ways.

We had just spent a couple of hours

Of bliss together.

This wasn't supposed to be

The usual result

Of continuous barter

Of love and peace.

Distance and Time

Are treacherous teachers,

Two hearts once entwined

Are untamable creatures.
