The Colours Of The World
The Colours Of The World
We were sent down to earth
All of us in white
Our thoughts and ideations all different
But our principles in the correct light
In the midst of all this
We assumed a mask
To betray or to amuse?
Is a question that I ask
When we look into a mirror,
We hardly recognise the person in front
It was all the colours that tainted the white
Our visions obscured by that little stunt
It's these colours of the world
So attractive and bright
Drawing us towards them
It sheds our light
Just a little bit of colour
And there will be a contrast
From the mass of tantamount
White would be the colour of the past.
We were so blinded by the colours
Tainting our beautiful white
We are compelled to owe it to ourselves
To view life from a different sight
There now will be a new contrast
By washing life’s colours out
From the mass of tantamount
White would be the colour most sought out.
