Monday Blues

That time of distress,

Every start of the week,

An honest feeling of laziness,

Interests shouting otherwise,

Sets of lame excuses to make,

A routine to break,

A pattern to settle,

Break even with self,

To encourage,

And move ahead,

To go be happy,

For the rest of the week,

Wait for it to end,

And yet feel the same,

When it starts all over again.
