A SOLEMN OATH!

Sunrise in the morning the eyes opened to see its light

You stretch your hands and legs, turn around to get up

Daily routine rites and regular exercises for a day's work

Physical or mental efforts make you all tired; you need rest!

 

Days you work hard till sunset, relax and rest at nights

Look after your body, clean home and personal hygiene

Fresh air, environment and surroundings are all kept clean. 

Cleanse hands often, no wasting water for any reason?

 

Nature and creatures are friendly you must be proud of all 

Family is an integral part of life, try to explore their feelings

Love each and every human being, poor or rich alike in life

Protect Nature to prevent calamities, destruction and floods

 

Take a solemn oath for total peace, holding hands with all

Help people; elderly parents, siblings, kids and the disabled 

Be courteous, ignore silly mistakes, feed the kids and poor

Simple life; no luxury items, only essentials; nothing wasted

 

Young or old; take care of others and make a better world

Praise folks with open hearts, warm hands or just a smile!

Plan and go; road signs posted to follow right path all times.

The future is bright, have good health, a long and happy life.

 

Kids all loved, youth made friends and the elderly duly respected

Great people are admired, sacrifices rewarded and be kind to all.

Love thy neighbour, be friendly with people and nature protected

Commonwealth and prosperity should be shared to enjoy life.
