CHANGING NAMES....
CHANGING NAMES....
CHANGING THE NAMES!
Power changed, names changed; country, states and own places;
Languages forced, the rules, culture and traditions are re-placed!
Colour changed; white, black, brown, red as in the rainbow shades
Sun rises in East and sets in West, North and South remain same!
We don't know when naming started, we see changes now very often
From nomadic life to modern living, people made this too many times!
The ancient people tried to maintain tradition, culture and family links
Man and woman get united, society wanted to know them by names!
'Mother's a certainty, father's a possibility' community made the rules,
Man and woman joined in marriages, families had created the norms
They made a custom to name first son after the paternal grandfather
First girl for the couple usually named after her maternal grandmother.
First name, surnames, middle names, and first one is the calling name!
Surnames are familiar names: persons, places or anything for a reason
Names are considered important in life and carried for the generations.
We note a few numbered in history; Elizabeth l and ll, George I to VI.
First name is a given name, surname is an inherited one to remember!
People change names after marriage, religion, language or numerology.
Some people hold names, respect inheritance and sentimental origins?
You can change anything but cling to first name as it's a parenteral gift!
