Mirrors
Mirrors
In the mirror you see,
A reflection of your biggest insecurity.
It’s screaming at your confidence,
And pushing down on your self-esteem.
The image in front of you,
Looks like a distorted view.
Believe me it’s just your mind playing tricks,
It’s definitely not you.
You’ve spent too much time,
Drowning yourself in hate is also a crime.
It may hurt to recover,
But it’s better than living with an eating disorder.
Next time you look in the mirror,
Don’t forget that it’s just a glass.
Because, how much of your beautiful soul
Is visible in just a reflection?
