Midnight Tale
Midnight Tale

The reason I wrote it.
Profoundly in love with your majestic existence
A night I would long forever,
I feel you like strong winds of the Pacific
You come and go but never stay
For you’re congruously flawed.
Oh, what a night it is!
As irrational and surreal as a dream.
The illuminating Luna made the night chromatic
The pearly water murmuring
So close to making a conversation with me.
The water hits the shore and goes back
Like any iteration of pain and happiness.
We are already halfway through the night.
And there you are!
I want to see the night through your eyes
You are desirable in a mysterious way
I am hooked by your lips
Oh, are they even real?
Now, I can wiggle to the beats of Vienna all day long
I can walk miles holding your hands
Remember saying, “I am so happy now”
Kiss me until my body smells like you.
See the Sun painting the sky with a red paintbrush
It’s a hazy July morning
How heavenly the air feels.
Would you listen to Vienna again with me?
Would you hold me from my back and put your lips on mine?
Would you make love to me again?
I want to fall in love with you for a night.
