Me And My Diary
Me And My Diary
I and my diary make hearty conversation,
Where my sentiments come alive,
They discuss, share, react and even revolt,
And, I do the same, outpouring my bleeding heart.
O, what a time it turns out to be,
When I embrace my diary like my bosom friend,
Either early morning with the spectacular dawn,
Or, after the world sleeps, and chaos subsides.
No gimmick or show-off to gain attention,
But a heartfelt connection with myself,
Bit by bit building myself, sundering conceited lies,
Emerging strong has never been so silky smooth.
Pen and paper, are weapons in hand,
Decluttering the mental chatter,
Aligning my mind with a higher cause,
Setting the tone right to fare better in life.
If someone manages to read my diary,
Will he value my emotions, and cognise me?
With his altered behaviour will he win me over?
Never mind! I continue to write on and on.
