Justice Denied.. Yet Again.

Justice Denied.. Yet Again.

Justice again takes the wrong route,

Once again, it falls prey to inept power,

Rare or common- the discrimination is unending,

While the hapless and the hope-seekers sigh,

The evil tentacles salivating at another opportunity,

Handed over to them consciously by the law keepers,

To do what they do the best- crime of course,

Whose fault is it then?

Misuse of education, degree and position,

By supposedly sensible persons,

Supported by indifferent common people,

Befuddled and diverted by media and freebies,

What's this state that we all are living in?

What about the generation taking birth and growing?

When adults deliberately commit unpardonable offences,

And children get rebuked every now and then,

For breaking discipline and being irresponsible,

Why is this hypocrisy?

Where is justice? Where is democracy?
