Late: Part 2
Late: Part 2

The alarm was not worth its time.
I stroked my eyes shut as the sun punched me
My eyes turned inside out while the sun was laughing at me
I soaked my eyes with ice, getting the smut to boot while the sun munched on the ice too.
Spies the sun, "You earned your eyes" shoots the sun chaffing across the cosmos
Did I wake up earlier than the alarm's call?
Should I go back to sleep and wait for it?
No, no more mistakes, I'd rather conform to the time's haul
I stood, shocked aback as I see the rate
It's 5:45! I have- No! my alarm's only strive,
A betrayal trait!
I dive into my clothes, and take my ticket out of the drive.
I derive a carton of milk and left over eggs to revive my drive.
I dive into my drive, and speed over 65, and try to reach the airport faster,
since it's already 5:55
I snatch my phone from my pockets
speed-dialing my way to my boss's phone
*I don't want to set the world on fire*
I detach from my atones, and start a racket
Why is this man not picking up his phone!?
ITS 6 AM, HOW LONG DOES HE PRONE?
*please leave a voice mail*
Boss,
I'm going for a vacation, bye!
color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">(is that going to be enough?)
Boss,
I'm a halcyon, outgoer, you can't stop me!
(isn't that a bit mean?)
I'll bring souvenirs for you, I promise!
(hah, will sting, and in tears when he
doesn't get anything promised!)
I put down the phone and focus on the road
red light's coming up, should I stop and groan?
A cop is staring at me, why, begone!
I rush anyway, but the cop doesn't chase
I was ready to brace but I am confused,
The cop's inanimate like a state of haze
it's 6:30, plane to fly at 7 am
I submit a plea, its too early to say goodbye already
I reach the port, take myself out armed,
with my cell and my gel, why? because,
everyone likes to keep their hair well.
I have an identity card in my pant pocket
a sudden gush of serenity fills my
breast pocket
This is it, 5 days of pure bliss
(Chris, I'm sorry)
for what- oh.
My body sends signals to my brain
My brain does not respond.
My body ends the venial chain
as I stare down a barricade of Bond men
