Late: Part 1
Late: Part 1
The work at the office has really been stressing me
Oh, has it now?
This clerkery has made me nauseous until I woe, bearing me.
Woe, has it come?
I try, I try to leave this place behind
Your trials require reprisals,
How do you defeat an enemy which you cannot see?
Or that which you cannot smell, taste or even hear
But you can feel it right?
Become numb?
Succumb glum?
It's enough, I'm going for a vacation
What is the chief going to hear?
Doesn't matter what I say, as long as I'm rowing, and living my vocation.
Lest he doesn't become Mr. Tear, sneers.
I get on my computer trying to book tickets
I see a piece on Vancouver and I click it
I book a seat for 7 am on the 7th
I look at my calender, it's the 6th, oh what a menace.
I set my alarm for 4 am
When are you telling the boss?
I hate Durcham, (why) for I am
But yes, I'll tell him as I leave my dwelling.
Tuck up legs, mattress on the bed
You sure you're going to wake on time?
Buck up belts for the suitcase
I am sure, the alarm bakes (ding), as long as it's worth its time (which it is)
The alarm was not worth its time.
