Just A Damn Poem

Sometimes you just want to write,

But you find no words,

You wan’t to share your story with someone,

But you find no friends.

You want to scream the agony out of you,

But find no voice,

You want to silence the demons within you,

But you cannot stop the noise.

You don’t want the rivalry,

But all they do is confront,

You mean good, you mean well,

But you’re left only with the brunt.

You want to smile, and you want to be happy,

But you are left with only desolation,

You want to cry, and you really try,

But they’re all dead, your emotions.

Your mind suffocates, your mind weeps,

But you don’t find the cure,

You thought life was good,

But you are no longer sure.

You gave them your strength,

And you made them feel important,

The moment you gave them power,

You didn’t get respect worth a cent.

You don’t want to go out,

But you cannot stay in home,

You want to punch the wall, break the ground,

But can only write a damn poem.

You curse yourself, hurt yourself,

But it’s too late, and even more sad,

If given a chance, you’ll go back in time,

And listen to advices given by dad.
