The Little One Inside Me

The Little One Inside Me

2 mins
24K

The one look in the mirror and a thousand minutes passed,

Standing in front of it and found my soul was glassed.

It's like a time travel but works only for the past,

It's nothing like a machine but is insanely fast.

So much rush in life seems worthless sometimes,

It's an endless rope, let's see how far one climbs.

Forgetting the innocence and becoming con day by day,

It's waste to look for white, mostly you will find black in grey.

In a blink of an eye, I am going to meet the little one inside me.

He looks different but seems happy.

His world is small but it's a little sappy.

Having a lot of fun and no harm to others,

More than friends, there are some brothers.

He wants to dance in rain and count the stars,

Get injured sometimes and left with scars.

His will is free and seems content,

No bounds for him and lives every moment.

He looks into the sun with bare eyes,

Wishes to have wings and fly to the skies,

In his every story the monster dies

Do silly things but think he is wise.

I miss that little guy in me,

Suffering from the pain of responsibilities, the expectations,

The unwanted negotiations,

Sick with rules and regulations.

Every time it's a violation,

Violation of free will and picks up the next station.

We all have that thing in us,

It's like an everyday bus.

It's on routine and is punctual,

Have the curtains of dirt and away from the actual.

Whenever it's hard to take it anymore,

Just stand in front of the mirror and get ready for a ride ....!
