He Understands
He Understands

Who the sad man is, I suppose
Who lost his dear mother a year ago.
He wakes up in his hostile bed,
His brain dizzy, his emotions dead.
All but a single one, which in it's fury cold,
Plagues the man, no mercy at hold.
For losing a mother can instill such shock,
A man stands still as a lifeless rock.
To lose a parent so caring and dear,
It is an event everybody fears.
When the suicidal thoughts will creep into the man's mind
He will sit and cry, and make himself blind
.
To all the pity that binds him to the earth
For other people see him as something worth.
Even a thousand bullets can never match the damage done
To his heart, mind and soul as one.
Oh! the anguish the man feels when beside him is no one
For he sees the world black and God a cruel one.
When he sees the giver of this birth slip through his hands
He could have appreciated more, he understands
Here as I keep my diary on the shelf,
You should understand I write about myself
