Formula For Love

Love is a vast ocean full of inexhaustible treasure;                              

Buried gems are invaluable without any measure,

In its depth is embedded transcendental mystery,

It is an inscrutable world, rejecting any query.

So it is with love; the depth’s so immense - profound,                         

Delving into the heart, the intrinsic worth is found.

To know the real person and his rare qualities divine,

We have painstakingly to probe and explore the mine.

To love one must know intimately the person in and out;

We all have many a fault, failing and flaws, no doubt!

One must love despite the shortcomings and forgive,

Not only be the recipient of favors, but we should also give.

In love one must sincerely all barriers of secrecy break;

One must forget oneself totally for the loved one’s sake;

The difference in status, wealth, age should not matter,

For the loved one’s sake, ego to the dust must scatter.
