The One In My Thoughts

Unbeknowst the day dawns light,

Swift and smooth the night comes by,

Time goes on and days move by,

Enamoured by thoughts of one in sight.

She walks in beauty like the hallowed night,

Of cloudless sky filled with starry light,

Of temperate radiance like the full moon night,

She embodies the darkness of blessed night.

She smiles so elegant like a princess might

With a face so pure like the morning sun,

She, talks in melody like the nightingale,

With warmth and care of an ordained nun.

She treads so light like the guided breeze,

Of wafting flora and tender leaves,

She the embodiment of efflorescent spree,

Of redolent blossoms and lush green trees.

She carries atop a braided treasure,

Of perennial tresses like a stream of river,

Of obsidian curls and pitch black clouds,

Ornate in sapphire and crimson asters.

She emits an aura so fresh and high,

Of the invigorating day and azure sky,

Angels come down swooping to Earth,

To catch a glimpse of her joyous mirth.

She is the poets ethereal verse,

Of celestial beauty and omniverse,

Of unconditonal love one bespeaks,

She is the stead fast destination one seeks

With cheeks that shine in rosy hue,

Of charms and spells that bewitch you,

She walks in beauty like the hallowed night,

Like stars have shimmered their sparkly light..........
