The Shadow

While walking through the meadows

I glanced at my shadows 

sticking with me all the time

like the bells having same chime

it is much longer than me

but I am much smarter than is he

All day long, I tried to detach it

but none of my tactics was fit

I walked through throny forests 

but could not move it even the slightest bit.

I was desperate

to make my soul and body separate.

At last I went to cliff

my whole body was stiff

I don't give it a second thought

after all the hardships I fought

I jumped from the cliff so fast

that I barely remember how I breathed last..
