Feeling Of God
Feeling Of God
This sleek, tall, uninteresting guy,
Has come - they claim his talks are broad -
By chance, to lecture just as wry;
Or preach as dictated by God.
Character makes me civilized,
Otherwise, I am barbarian.
The claim he proves, approach stylized;
Elegance made by frank notion.
But, fool, he thinks, God can be known
Through rules his senses could detect;
And through logic and reason lone:
That God be cause, the world - effect.
Birds soar, and butterflies flutter;
As planes and spacecraft man has flown;
Creations imply creator.
In this way thus, God can be known.
King of skies, punctual riser;
Like I follow Indian time zone;
Laws flawless made by law-maker.
In this way hence, God can be known.
Their orbits leave, planets never;
Like seemingly pilotless drone;
Perfect control has controller.
And in this way, God can be known.
You are an astrophysicist!
The world needs no intervention -
Miracles of the Alchemist -
Your science shows it's illusion.
But no, you know, God's there, you've felt;
In God you trust, in God you've lead
Your life, joy-strife, each moment dealt:
What fine relationship you've made!
And here this guy says God is known
Through rules as trivial and mortal
As himself. You decide he's done
For! Yet unlike his ideas dull
He seems to be. It's then you see
He's just as blessed as you, and he
Is here not by chance, but many
A purpose, like your poetry!
