Dracula's Love Letter

Dracula's Love Letter

Dear Mina,

When the clock struck twelve at the night and the dogs did bark

I was on my killing spree, laying my monstrous tooth on soft and hapless necks,

A shrill cry from the dilapidated castle made me fly to it,

That very moment my eyes fell on thy beautiful countenance

A nonpareil beauty, despite the sobs and the wails.

The time froze as Cupid struck his arrow in my heart

Inside the forlorn castle, surrounded by trees and eerie caves

Our love story’s accouchement, I did espy

Delicious like the hot and fresh blood I feast upon.

Beyond the teardrops, your eyes shone like the sparkling stones

Your red and plump lips demanded a kiss from me,

But I resisted, for love was it and not lust disappearing like a flash

Seeing your amorevolous lover, you blushed

O! That pink tinge spread on your white cheeks

You hesitated a little but your heart was already mine

And, you shed your fears and looked at me.

And, I became berserk by your sheer presence.

I implore you not to discard my feelings as the ravings of a sick mind,

Yes, the blood-sucking Dracula has fallen head over heels with you.

Trust me, darling, the predilection since then has written a new tale,

It’s pure and true, and comes straight from my heart,

Like the moon’s romance with the sea when the world falls asleep.

I’ll endaunt you till the night shines with the brightest murk

It’s time to break the omen and make you mine forever

The prophecy doth mention ‘A Dracula's love for a lady’.

And, the commandment we should fulfill.

I gefreogan you, Dear Mina, oft will I saith

Until I seethe your trust in my plea.

Never again will thee find another one like me

Loving you from the bosom of the heart,

And pronouncing you my lady till eternity.

I dreameth of the smuggle and smouch from you

I’ll wait till the apocalypse for your acceptance.

Till then I would bid adieu due to the light peeping through the black sky

I would end my epistle here, wrapping it with my dilection

Feel my nursling and you’ll realise I’m your Soulmate.

From, your one and only swain.
