Down The Memory Lane
Down The Memory Lane

Try much though my best to let go
Try as much I can to forget the past
But End of Day
Your untold story keeps coming
Unannounced down the memory lane
It has been ages, for sure
Since we met or spoke
There has not been a single day
When I did not look at the window
To see if some shadow takes your shape
And whisper- it is not over yet.
The Midsummer night’s dream is coming to an end
Nights have turned into nightmare
Does not matter
For whom the bell tolls
I find a slow but certain decay
Life’s greatest tales are those
That tell us of the saddest thoughts
Well, that has been the lesson ingrained in history so far
And likely to continue so now and forever
