Don't Drive Around Mountains
Don't Drive Around Mountains
I started the journey and set off towards the ocean,
Little did I know there'd be so many mountains blocking my way.
So many failures and so much demotivation,
So many humps that cause delay.
I try to drive around them and I fail,
I try to climb them, all in vain.
It seems like I just fell off the mountain that I tried to scale,
The blue sky changes to black and the cool air leads to rain.
I've seen people climb them before,
So I'll try and try until I reach the sea.
Because there'll be nothing sweeter than lying on the sea shore,
Knowing that I climbed mountains to reach where I want to be.
