Digging Up A Chance
Digging Up A Chance
If you looked in the corners
you would find her right there,
Hidden by all of the darkness
and the curls in her brown hair.
Her name is in her writings
and her head is in the clouds,
While she hides her feelings
away from all of the crowds.
If you would stay by her side
while the world passed you by,
She would tell you a sad story
behind the pain in her blue eyes.
If you gave her five minutes
you would see how her smile,
Made even the bad things
in life seem so worthwhile.
But you do not look in corners
no, you do not even glance,
So she sits there still waiting
for somebody to give her a chance.
