Dad's Unanswered Call
Dad's Unanswered Call
Years back a fallacy happened,
Turning my life completely blacken.
Ferocious and wrathful, I left my home,
Draping myself with a sack of groan!
The moon dint show off that night,
Quarrelling with screams, I wished my dad could understand my plight.
When discussions turned to dissension,
‘’I disown you’’, came as his ruthless affirmation!
Faults were plenty and mercy had no-win,
I although catered guts to call him once again for a grin,
Drowned in guilt and sorrow of getting apart,
I craved if dad forgave me with all his heart!
Yet again the call remained unanswered,
100th, 1000th or may be umpteen times.
I still hanker if my phone displayed ‘Dad Calling..’,
To my unceasing anguish, I needed a joyous morning!
For once I wanted to confess,
Without you my dad, this life is just a mess.
May the universe someday blossom to me its bliss,
And even if that’s a second before my obsequies,
I wanna seek apologies for not being amiss!
