Consider her Broken
Consider her Broken
Things around her lied shattered.
She wished they mattered.
She knows she's at the end of the rope,
Terrified of her own shadow.
They thought everything was fine.
But who was listening?
She seemed happy to them,
While smile covered her tears.
Consider her Broken, she says.
Things have not changed yet.
She hasn't discovered peace yet.
She is trying to turn a new page,
Wishing to explore out of that cage.
She doesn't know
How to tell what she feels.
Her emotions are all over the place,
And her lies
Constraining psychologically.
Consider her Broken, she says.
Endless abyss around her.
She was told,
"Darling, you will grow out of it,
it's just a 'teenage' phrase."
Though she would rather be Enola than Alone.
Sadness escalating deep down.
No one to save her.
She wondered if anyone would notice if she fled?
... If she took her own life?
Consider her Broken, she said.
