Compromise

A war has no winners,

The perpetrators, the sinners,

A lost limb, a wasted life

Is all that comes out of strife.

A war ordained by the ruler,

To satisfy ego and manouver

The soldier facing the assault 

With no choice and for no fault.

Animals drawn into the conflict,

For the warring people's own benefit,

Cruelty on the animals does befall,

Although the world is a place for all

Time to halt this meaningless act,

Find ways to give peace a chance, 

Give some, take some, make a compromise,

Therein the solution to the problem lies.
