Fate
Fate

Drenched in the rain writing for survival
He handed over his fate to an unknown bird
Who knew nothing but only the ways of flying
But promised to protect it in every word
Fluttering those wings she took off soaring
Against the wind crossing the oceans
Contented to witness his fate fleeing
And outlaying the boundaries of all emotions
She halts to keep moving towards the end
But gets lost into the woods dark and eerie
Chirping for help she skipped trees empty
Ought to have a nest but no map; no theory
Stumbling upon a spirit unexpectedly noble
Resolved to put an end to the journey
For love, she discovered in the soul
Unaware of the hidden truth being thorny
Spirit noble and gracious to her heart
Awaiting the right moment to steal
Her most prized possession of all
For fate, her love was no deal
Incensed and broken she dashed away
High in the skies traversing her limits
Lost her faith in love and passion
She could never trust another spirit
Flew till she ran out of breath and hope
And landed upon a secluded corpse
Recognizing the corpse she discovered
All that time she was running in circles
Mourning ended with the verity
When revealed it was too late
The only thing he wrote in the rain
“The bird who flew away was my fate” Drenched in the rain writing for survival
