Bull fighting

Man and bull fighting one another, 

Each trying to win over the other 

Where one is sure to be mauled or killed,

Will the heart ever with joy be filled?

With bear hands can you overpower

A beast which is bigger and stronger

Man must use brains to get on top,

Or the beast will, his folly must stop.

What kind of sport is this,

Where people revel in death?

In defending its right to live, 

The bull draws its last breath. 

Isn't bull fighting testimony

To man's sadistic streak,

Finding joy in something 

That harms man or beast?

The earth must be a safe place 

For all creatures on its surface 

A safe haven, a peaceful spot,

For all to enjoy, a blissful thought!
