The Ocean

Ocean waves rising high,

As if wanting to touch the sky,

Like them, Keeping the goals lofty,

stretch the limits of your capability

Ocean waves keeping low,

For a change, make the pace slow,

Helping one to rejuvenate 

Take a breather, resuscitate. 

Ocean deep, with secrets unknown 

Harbours within, a world of its own

Plants and animals of every kind,

So many species, it boggles the mind

Algae and corals, turtles and fish,

If only I too could, I sometimes wish

Live in the lap of the ocean so vast,

Swimming hither and thither really fast.

The ocean is bestowed with the responsibility 

Being on earth, the largest entity,

The ocean nurtures everyone about 

Within its waters or any place out.
