Colorblind Or Rainbow?

Seven colors, so different from the other is each

Far above in the sky, it lies beyond reach.

Blue in the water

Yellow in sunshine

Orange in the fire

Green in the grapevine

And then there's red, violet, and indigo you see

Once it's up in the sky, for nothing else I'm free.

These colors seven you see separately each day

But you do know your excitement when together they play???

This arch of wonder however in the sky

is not just there for you to play "I spy"

When it rains hard, it's the hard days of life.

Brightened up by the sunshine, there's a solution to every strife!

But that's not all, this wonder wants you to know

But a deeper lesson is here to show.

Color......................Or rather COLORS..........

You see different ones in the rainbow, you become happy

You see different ones around, why acts thou so snappy??

Together the seven colors become the sky's crown

Why must we then hate someone white or black or brown???

You yourself know the beauty when the colors come close

Isn't that prescription enough to get over this discrimination drug dose?

Just for a day become color blind and see

You may not see the rainbow, but you'll see "I" become "WE".
