Can Heart Take The Plunge?

Heart had a rendezvous with the mind

Leveraging the aid of intellect

It manufactured a beautiful collection of words

The conjured-up words intertwined together

When it was about to pour out of my mouth

The lips zipped themselves to curb the flow

The words spiralled back to the heart unable to mix with the air

Oh, my God! The mind got upset with the heart

The hard work went for naught as the words sunk deep into the heart

The thunderous beating of the heart reflected its fear

An opportunity to express the perspectives went down the drain

Why the heart has become hypersensitive?

Why can't it strike a chord with the lips?

Why can't it nurture the courage to express its desires?

Has it forsaken the desire to keep itself happy?

Why every time it allows its precious energy to be sapped?

The mind has had enough advising the heart

It no longer wants to have itself entangled in vexation

The words are meant to be expressed

Not to be brushed down the carpet

The pain is what refines the heart

It fears the feeling of being hurt

Can the heart overcome the obstacle of fear?

Can it beckon the lips to dance to its tunes?

Are the words deep-rooted in the heart get the license to flow freely?

So that the mind gets its due respect

Time has answers to a plethora of questions

The heart is doing a course to break free from inhibitions.
