The Great One
The Great One
As I gaze at your consecrated idol
Some energy stirred the deep recesses of my mind
I am aroused by the presentiment of your arrival
To behold you, I don't need anybody's approval
I stood agape
When you descended to the human landscape
Oh, Lord Shiva! I bow down my soul to you
My puny mind is nervous upon seeing you
I am spellbound by your enchanting presence
Tears of joy welled up in my eyes with your one glance
Your hypnotizing eyes speak volumes about your strength
How did I tune to your wavelength?
I am drenched in the rain of devotion
In silence, I offer you my salutation
I am intoxicated by this adrenaline rush
My mind is cooking hymns in this hush
I prostrate before you surrendering my soul
Having a glimpse of you was my life goal
This is not an imaginary film
I am indeed taken to your realm
Swimming in your wisdom which is plumbless
I am greeted by copious happiness
As I continued to drink in the joy, your blissful tears
Weaved to become beads that wreathed my neck to erase all fears
I wonder if I am the blessed one
To see the great one
Who has ascended my mind throne
To ensure I am never alone
