The Illusion Of Reality
The Illusion Of Reality

In this world of smoke and mirrors,
There are those who pretend, to hide their fears.
They create an illusion, of who they want to be,
But deep down inside, they're just not free.
They hide behind their image, and play their part,
But they never show the world, their true heart.
For fear of being judged, or not accepted,
They keep up the façade, feeling disconnected.
Their words may sound sweet, but their heart is sour,
As they deceive themselves, hour by ho
ur.
They strive for perfection, but it's all a lie,
For their true self, they'll never really try.
But life is too short, to live a lie,
To waste precious moments, before we die.
It's time to break free, and be true to ourselves,
To embrace our flaws, and love ourselves.
For in the end, it's the truth that prevails,
And our real self, is what never fails.
So let's shatter the illusion, and live our truth,
For that's where real happiness, can take root.
