Birds! Oh, Birds!

I love how you fly.

Dashing here and there,

Swooping in the sky!

 

I love the birds

Which are big and fast,

But they are also very dangerous

And I can get you a cast!

 

I’d better be careful because

Birds do attack,

And I’ll be careful every time because

They’ll come back.

So many birds are so beautiful,

Some of them are very colorful.

Petting birds is not so easy,

Sometimes they make you feel queasy

 

I love birds because they can fly

And sometimes think,

“How does the world look from the sky?”

 

If they move from country-to-country,

It is called migration.

They even travel

All around the United Nations!

 

Birds are very active,

And very smart.

Many of them are friendly,

Which is good for a start.
