Better Remain Strangers
Better Remain Strangers
I can perceive
My genuine intention is taken for a ride
Modest tinkering only ...has incited
The whole gamut of ill-feeling
My truthful utterance has no more chance, it seems
A sense of bickering has shrouded the horizon
Added to the plight and incomprehension
I am hurt by misgivings
Miffed by speculation
Flanked by an overdose of distress and disdain
Our old love loses lustre
Like a tattered apparel loses sheen
Having been worn over a period
We better part ways and act as strangers...
Than remain bloodthirsty avengers.
