Sprinkle those drops of ecstasy

Dear monsoon!

engulf me in the lingering aroma of petrichor

and fill my indolent turns of life with poetic lore


from the virtual fortress of coyness 

I have unchained myself 

to soak soul and spirit in heavenly pour

Dear monsoon!

drench me in those unceasing grin

and golden glint of love


relieve the universe from onslaughts of 

torrid summer

once again help nature 

to burst into those peals of laughter
