Uncovered Scars
Uncovered Scars
She resolved to let
Bare her scars to the world
The world which judged her
For what the other one did
The result of one-sided love
Which she didn't consent to
All those years she yearned
For the purest form of love
The feeling which can't be
Simply expressed through words
Didn't she have the freedom
To exercise her choice?
Her heart would often question
The authenticity of this feeling
How can it take the help
Of few drops of that deadly liquid?
That day how her heartbeat stopped
But somehow she grew stronger
Now she understands that in
No way pure love can manifest into
The heinous form of hatred
Where there's love, the feeling of
Hatred will never dare to hover
Time made things clear.
Yes, she fought with the voices
Of the world and their reflections
Inside her, she succeeded in
Dampen it reverberations and commotions; it was like the day
Of liberation from all judgments.
