Being a Mum
Being a Mum
Being a mum is not that easy,
It’s a task that keeps you busy.
Throughout the day and the night,
Testing your patience at its height.
Before arriving, they let you know,
That life’s going to be tough and so.
Your belly grows,
Your mind just blows.
Your mood goes for a toss,
You seem to be at loss.
And then comes the pain,
It just freezes your brain.
It reminds you of all your sins,
It’s like hell fire in your limbs.
And then they arrive,
You forget the pain and revive.
Then begins the sleepless nights,
The struggles, the dizziness, and the fights.
The husband has to go to the office,
The pressure on you is enormous.
You become their mother dairy,
Their wails are quite scary.
You are poured with pukes and poops,
There are lots of ooh, aah and oops.
You want to scream, you want to cry,
But can’t quit, you have to try.
But their smile and sparkle of their eyes,
Makes you forget your problems and rise.
Above all your struggles, and glow,
With love for them, ‘cause now you know.
That being a mum is not that easy,
It’s a task that keeps you busy.
