Angel To Demon

They say, Angel and Demon,

are two opposites, described,

and where do they belong?

in me, they reside.

What if the pure breathing Angel?

Loses her charm,

she meets the demon,

and forgets her calm.

Her shoulder is intensely bleeding,

she has a deep crimson cut,

But that ache satisfies her,

Because she is used to getting hurt.

The dove eyes she had,

which once carried peace and sober,

Now are replaced by,

fierce orbs containing a wildfire.

She used to admire the rose first,

but now she enjoys the thorn,

she lets her fingers suffer,

as she ignores the people’s scorn.

She was slowly fading,

turning into the demon,

But that gave her solace,

after her happiness was taken.

Pain,

This four-letter word,

is her only want,

though it stabs her,

like a sharp sword.

Her long brunette locks,

which she once hastily tied,

now are gone, exposing her bald skull,

which she flaunts with pride.

She has been through both,

the hellfire and heaven’s scent,

but she chose hell,

because her life is now full of lament.

She was already dead on the inside,

all she did was,

pull the trigger,

of the pistol, she had carried.
