A Mermaid

Luis, who stayed near sea beach 

With his grandmom,

Had many friends in school but still was lonely,

Used to sit alone at beach and play with ocean water.

Luis loved his grandma and to her, he, a favourite grandson.

Luis missed his parents too who were away from him on duty.

Luis used to wait for a Mermaid on sea beach everyday,

Which he learnt in school book but he had never seen it!

One night a mermaid came in his dream, he became more curious.

Next day at beach he got astonished to see a colourful mermaid,

She came to him, touched him gently and gave him colourful stones, 

shining pebbles, pearls and many 

beautiful things and disappeared in sea water.

Luis got so happy as his dream came true , 

At home he had one more surprise,

He saw his parents waiting to see him!!!
