Tragedy

7 Minutes

7 Minutes

1 min

Hold on, let me reach you.

The car in front did not move

The watch said seven minutes

I shrieked, please wait for me.

Threesome on a pillion won't budge

The watch said less than seven now.

I traveled those 7 years of togetherness

Those seven years of madness

Entire life shrunk to seven minutes now

The signal, the people, the chaos around

They did not need seven minutes to spend

I cried and pleaded, jostled and pushed

But in seven minutes it was gone

Attention grabbers and seekers thronged

All-around when you were gone.

Every casualty needs the last seven minutes of life

Take them super fast, whoever you are

From where ever you are,

Then no less than God himself.

Give an honest try, your seven minutes

May be seventy years of togetherness rewarded.
