Redeem, Rejoice, Relive

Redeem, Rejoice, Relive

Saints on earth are never born,

Nor are ever demons spawn.

Every infant carries godhood,

Like the primal ray of dawn.

Grows unbound the mighty kid,

Beating even light in speed.

Light of garb and fleet of foot,

Untainted by thought or deed.

Takes upon the scary world,

Like a lion cub so bold.

Throwing punches all around,

Breaking free from strangling hold.

But the world does hold so fast,

Embrace will a lifetime last.

Kid succumbs to mounting pressure,

As had many heroes of the past.

Now as one with the world,

Many a kid has he too called.

Emissary of yon dark world,

Tensile, steely, sharp and cold.

Perchance that he does reminisce,

Standing alone on the yon precipice,

Sweating tears of joy and hope,

Now and then every orifice.

Toils hard to break the fetters,

Clouds of doubt our hero scatters.

As the illusion slowly shatters,

Now it is the mind that matters.

Free from him, and me, and you,

Virgin like the morning dew.

Settles upon the leaf of life,

With vigor and zeal anew.

Inspires other kids to action,

If not all, at least a fraction.

Every breath, a fruit of effort,

Tireless one with no retraction.

Gaze upon the face so holy,

Sweet, divine-like blessed moly.

Greets death bereft of fear,

None ere looked ever so jolly.
