Shades Of Light!

Verdant green

Or Endless blue,

Dawn-dipped orange,

A colour so new.

Flowers violet,

Blossoms pink,

Royal the hue that

Reads as ink.

Yellowish halo,

Raging red,

Drops of blood,

A sight to dread.

White and black,

Do often play.

A flash in the sky

Turns night to day.

Also shadows may

Eat up the sun.

Gloomy interlude

In a day of fun.

Colours of nature,

Bustling with might.

Spark of the creation

In their own right.

We have unto ourselves,

Assigned each a colour.

Let's celebrate them all

With splendour and galore.
